Message	I thought what you are saying. If I failed visual, they would say sorry, you don't have any cats, you fail...and I would drive off minus my $10 testing fee. When they run your car through emissions, they enter your VIN along with mileage. So my car is now flagged as failing the cat inspection. I asked if I could put the factory cats back on if I could source some. I even have a local guy I know that called and offered me his to go back and re-test with. It appears that I must return with my special inspection ticket, a receipt for new cats, and pass visual. I was so upset about it.
